Nigerian dance hall singer and song writer Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, popularly known as Patoranking is set to perform and thrill fans at the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World cup in Qatar in November.
The World Cup which begins on November 20 will have the “Celebrate Me” singer perform on the global football stage alongside Hassan Shakosh, DJ Aseel, Gims, Miami Band, Julian Marley and The Uprising, Myrath, and clean bandit, according to information on FIFA website.
The 32-year-old music star will mount the stage on November 28.
The 2022 Headies Award winner, will perform before a large crowd and viewers from around the world at the FIFA Fan Festival at one central location at Al Bidda Park in Doha.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup kicks off on November 20 and for the first time the global football tournament will be held in the Arabian Pennisula.
Nigeria failed to qualify for the mundial, but the presence of Patoranking at the opening ceremony billed for the Al Bayt Stadium, will entertain fans back home still.
