The 21-year-old is the cousin of ex-Super Eagles star Emmanuel Emenike, and the former Oklahoma FC striker has now been capped six times by the USMNT.
Miles Robinson, Gyasi Zardes and Nicholas Gioacchini also scored for the U.S as Coach Gregg Berhalter’s men shifts attention to their clash with Canada on Sunday, which will determine the Group B winner.
