The dissolution announced a few minutes ago by the Inspector General of Police cuts across all Thirty States of the nation including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with immediate effect.
2: What’s Next For Men of The Disbaned Squad?
All officers and men who served in the former tactical unit will be redeployed to other Units, Formations and Commands of the Police Force.
3: Who Will Tackle Armed Robbery?
The public should expect an imminent announcement of a new policing arrangement that will fight Armed Robbery and other related crimes.
4: Have You Lost Faith in The Nigerian Police?
Don’t be so quick. The force is perfecting plans of launching a Citizens and Strategic Stakeholders Forum that will provide an avenue for Citizens to easily intimate Police authorities with issues that are of concerns to the general public.
5: Punishment of Erring Officers:
An Investigative Team that consist of Civil Society Organizations will be set up to deal with reports of crimes committed against citizens while culprits found culpable will be punished.
