Nigerian striker, Kelechi Iheanacho provided two assists to help Leicester City overturn a two-goal deficit to beat Spatak Moscow 4-3 in the Europa League on Wednesday.
Patson Daka scored all four of the Foxes goals after they went 2-0 down in the first half.
Aleksandr Sobolev and Jordan Larsson got the goals for the Russian side. Leicester got one back just before the break as Daka scored his first.
Crucially, though, Leicester responded immediately, with Daka slotting in after getting on the end of Kelechi Iheanacho’s chipped through-ball.
The Zambian international, who was a goalscoring late substitute in Saturday’s 4-2 win over Manchester United, levelled matters soon after the break with another neat finish, again set up by the Nigerian.
Iheanacho gave a good account of himself against Manchester United over the weekend, giving Harry Maguire a difficult time throughout the encounter as the Foxes ended the Red Devil’s 29 game unbeaten run away from home.
Iheanacho robbed Harry Maguire off the ball, squared it to Youri Tielemans who wonderfully swept his effort into the top corner from 18 yards with his first touch.
Iheanacho has so far made six goals contributions in his last five games for the Foxes, giving that tonight’s Europa League win was only his third start for the club this season.
The 25-year-old has now been directly involved in 24 goals in his last 26 games for Leicester in all competitions, scoring 17 and making seven assists.
