Former Chelsea boss Avram Grant could be making his way back to Stamford Bridge to join Frank Lampard’s backroom staff, owing to the club’s recent dip in form, according to multiple reports.
The Blues started the season on a bright note but soon fell from the pecking order after back-to-back defeats to Everton and Wolverhampton wanderers.
In a bid to put the club back in contention to win a silverware, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly considering bringing former club boss to Stamford Bridge to assist his one-time ward.
Frank Lampard has come under severe pressure, with reports indicating that he could be shown the exit door should the poor run of results continue.
Former Juventus boss Max Allegri, Thomas Tuchel and Andriy Shevchenko and a number of tacticians have been touted as possible replacements for Lampard.

Chelsea’s next games would see them take on struggling Fulham and Leicester City and Lampard’s only option is to win both games in order to rekindle the Blues title hopes.
According to Metro UK citing Sky Sports, Abramovich is looking to bring Avram Grant back to the club to join Lampard’s backroom staff.
The Isreali, who is understood to Abramovich’s close ally, had a brief spell at the club, during which he led them to their first ever Champions League final before losing out on penalties to eventual champions, Manchester United.
Chelsea currently occupies the ninth spot on the log with 26 points from 17 games.
