After facing suspension for criticizing President Muhammadu Buhari, Salihu Yakasai, an aide to the Kano Governor, has again called for the president’s resignation over Nigeria’s worsening security situation.
Yakasai’s whose comment came after the news of the abduction of 300 female students of the Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe, Zamfara, on Friday, was previously suspended by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje for criticizing Buhari.
Salihu who made this remarks while he appeared on an interview on Channels Television said: “Clearly, we as APC government, at all levels, have failed Nigerians in the number one duty we were elected to do, which is to secure lives and properties.
“Not a single day goes by without some sort of insecurity in this land. This is a shame! Deal with terrorists decisively or resign.
“Even in the most developed countries in the world, school kidnappings take place.
The latest kidnap comes ten days after bandits stormed a high school in Kagara, Niger State and seized about 27 students and 15 school administrators.
