Host nation, Cameroon continued their good start to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with a 4-1 win over Ethiopia on Thursday to reach the competition last 16.
Ethiopia started off well in the game when Dawa Dukele scored in the 4th minute.
But the Indomitable Lions soon got an equalizer when Lyon midfielder Karl Ekambi reached the end of the ball and headed home.
In the second half, Vincent Aboubakar, competition’s top-scorer grabbed his brace, before Ekambi also added his second in the 67th minute.
The Cameroonians are seeking for a sixth title as they now have six points with both feet in the Round of 16.
Toni Conceicao’s side will next face Cape Verde in their final group game on Monday.
Cape Verde were defeated 0-1 by Burkina Faso in the other group A game played on Thursday.
Burkina Faso forward Boureima Bande scored with his chest to help the Stallions pick their first win at the tournament.
The result ensured the Stallions are tied on points with the Cape Verdeans while the group remains open for the other three nations to qualify alongside Cameroon.
