Engr. Wabote made the call on Wednesday while delivering his address at the the Nigerian-African Natural Resources Energy Investment Summit.

The Summit held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja Nigeria is sponsored by the NCDMB. The event started on June 1 and will climax on June 3.

It is aimed at discovering solutions and exhibit technologies that will lead to the growth and industrialization of Africa and more climate friendly manner while encouraging development and financing of green energy projects.

What the NCDMB boss is saying

According to the Engr. Wabote, a great deal of fortune-changing natural resources that abound in Africa are yet to explored and exploited for the good of the continent.

He said discussions industry stakeholders will hold at the summit on the exploration and exploitation of natural resources should be taken to the presidential level, then to the African Union.

“Strategically, they need to look at how we are going to exploit and explore our natural resources for the benefit of Africa,” he said.

The local content boss also stressed the need for African countries to come together and strategize on how to respond to the threats of natural resources on the continent.
