Ghanaian former international Kevin-Prince Boateng has officially announced his retirement from professional football.
He had retired from playing for Ghana years back.
He had a short but impactful stint with the Black Stars and was part of the Ghana squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
Boateng’s 15-Club Feat
The former Black Stars midfielder is hanging his boots after playing for as many as 15 different clubs, at 36 years
The last club he played for is German outfit Hertha Berlin.
KP Boateng returned to his boyhood club in 2021 and managed to help the club avoid relegation that season.
On and off the pitch he has been helping the club as a player-coach and a mentor for the young ones as well.
Some of the clubs he played for during his extraordinary journey as a professional footballer include Dortmund, AC Milan, Barcelona, Tottenham, Schalke, Genoa, and more.
