Again, another Nigerian military aircraft has reportedly gone down at an undisclosed location in Kaduna State, sources say.
An informant told reporters of the mishap on Sunday.
Recall, the military has recorded three air crashes prior to this latest report, all with varying degrees of severity.
In May, an air mishap claimed the lives of serving Army Chief, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and 10 other officers.
In February, a Minna-bound military jet crashed, killing all seven people on board. On April 2, another Alpha jet crashed in Borno during an operation.
“The fighter jet left Yola, the Adamawa capital, this morning to go clear bandits,” the informant said.
Meanwhile, as at the time of writing this report, the Nigerian Air Force Spokesman, Air Commodore Edward Gabwet, is yet to comment on the reports, as all calls to his phones have not been taken.
The Special Assistant to the Defense Minister, Mohammad Abdulkadri, has also failed to disclose any information on the development.
