Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti has made Champions League history with victory over PSG.
Real won 3-1 on Wednesday night to reach the quarterfinals 3-2 on aggregate.
Ancelotti now becomes the first coach to reach the quarter-finals in four consecutive decades.
His first was in charge of Juventus in 1999 and he’ll now compete with Real Madrid in 2022.
The 62-year-old Italian won the Champions League with Milan in 2003 and 2007, then with Real Madrid in 2014.
Los Blancos booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League in stunning fashion as they came from behind to beat Paris Saint-Germain at the Bernabeu.
Ancelotti’s men started the game rapidly, producing a number of chances which they were unable to take. PSG eventually settled into the contest and took the lead through Kylian Mbappe’s strike after 39 minutes.
Real came out strongly, once again, after the interval and were rewarded when PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma lingered on the ball before clearing it straight to Vinicius, who pulled it back for Karim Benzema to slot home after the hour mark.
Panic spread like wildfire in the PSG defence and the hosts drew level after 76 minutes.
Luka Modric danced through the midfield before picking out Vinicius, who looked set to run in on goal. The Brazilian forward returned the pass, before Modric then found Benzema with an intricate ball and the striker finished the move off via a deflection.
Real applied pressure straight from the restart and completed a mesmerising comeback just two minutes later. Marquinhos was unable to clear the ball properly and it fell to Benzema, who side-footed the ball into the net for his hat-trick.
