Real Madrid have agreed to extend the contract of Coach Carlo Ancelotti until June 30, 2026.
This was disclosed by the Spanish club giants.
Wade-off Move
While Ancelotti was rumored to be interested in taking the job to coach the Brazilian national team next summer, Real Madrid decided to reward him with a new contract which will expire in 2026.
The Italian coach led Madrid to a very good first half of the 2023-2024 season, overcoming a big injury crisis which put the team’s season in jeopardy.
At 64, the tactician was appointed at the Bernabeu for a second time in 2021 on an initial three-year deal.
Exploits Of An Outstanding Coach
In his five seasons as the coach of Real Madrid, he has won 10 titles – two Champions League, two Club World Cups, two UEFA Super Cups, one La Liga, two Copa del Rey, and one Spanish Super Cup.
Carlo Ancelotti is the only coach to have won four European Cups and has achieved the most victories in the history of the competition.
He is also the first coach to win the five major European Leagues in Italy, England, France, Germany, and Spain.
Top Of La-Liga Groove
Seven points clear of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, Los Blancos also stayed perfect in the Champions League.
Internally, they also value that Ancelotti has not complained about the injury crisis nor used it as an excuse, while finding the best position to get the most out of Jude Bellingham also works in his favour.
