Like his compatriot, Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman on Wednesday night scored his first UEFA Champions League goal.
His goal came as Serie A side Atalanta thrashed Ukrainian club, Shakhtar Donetsk 3-0.
Lookman also provided an assist in the encounter.
The 25-year-old was in action for 60 minutes in the game, and was replaced by Matteo Retegui.
Earlier on Tuesday, Victor Boniface had netted his first Champions League goal while featuring for Bundesliga reigning champions Bayer Leverkusen against Italian supremo AC Milan.
Atalanta will host Scottish Premiership champions, Celtic in their next game in the competition.
Same day, defending champions Real Madrid lost 0-1 to French side, Lille, just as English club Aston Villa defeated Bundesliga great Bayern Munich 1-0.
The night got tougher for Heavyweights as Atletico Madrid also went down in the matchday two of the continent’s group stage engagement.
Atletico were demolished 0-4 by Benfica.
