Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo was in action for Rangers as they rounded off their 2020/21 Scottish Premiership season in style following a 4-0 thrashing of Aberdeen on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Aribo’s compatriot Leon Balogun was not included in the squad as Rangers, who have already been crowned champions one month ago, finished the season without defeat for the first time in 122 years.
The Gers also matched the record for the most clean sheets kept in the Scottish top-flight with 26, set by Celtic way back in the 1913/14 season.
Steven Gerrard’s men had opened scoring just five minutes after James Tavernier’s cross was deflected off Jack MacKenzie and palmed in by Joe Lewis in goal for the visitors.
Kemar Roofe’s brace had made it 3-0 before substitute Jermain Defoe wrapped it up to stroke home the fourth and final goal of the game.
