The Nigerian Army, on Saturday evening, stormed a Boko Haram suspected mosque located at Filin Lazio, Hotoro, Kano metropolis and arrested about 10 suspects.
The mosque belongs to some indigenes of Borno State that fled the troubled northeast due to the Boko haram insurgency.
Reports have it that the intelligent operation was conducted in a more professional means without raising eyebrows of the fasting-breaking Muslims.
The spokesperson, 3rd Brigade Nigerian Army in Kano, Captain Njoko Irabor confirmed the operation to newsmen but could not give exact number of suspects arrested.
Captain Irabor said, “Yes, the operation has been carried out in the area and it will be a continuous exercise”.
The Army Spokesman promised to give details on the operation as well as on the number of suspects apprehended during the operation which lasted for more than an hour.
