Benin Republic head coach Michel Dussuyer has released his final squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of of Nations qualifying double-header against Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
Top stars; Jodel Dossou, Steve Mounie, Saturnin Allagbe, Cedric Hountondji and Emmanuel Imorou were named in the squad.
Olivier Gerdon and Rudy Gestede were however omitted from the list.
Dussuyer unlike his German opponent Gernot Rohr also omitted club-less captain Stephan Sessegnon from the list of invited players for the games.
Sessegnon will however be in the team’s camp as ”non -playing captain to boost the morale of his teammates.
Benin occupy second spot in Group L with seven points from four games and will secure a place in Cameroon 2021 with a win against the Super Eagles.
