Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, on Saturday in Gwoza, received another Chibok Girl who presented herself to the Nigerian Army.
In a statement on Saturday, the governor’s media aide, Isa Gusau, said the Commander, 26 Task Force Brigade, Brig-Gen D.R. Dantani, handed over the schoolgirl, Hassana Adamu in company of her two children, to Zulum.
Zulum who just returned from Northern Borno where he spent five days for humanitarian interventions, was in Gwoza where he received the girl and from there he moved to Bama to continue with his humanitarian activities.
Hassana was one of over 200 schoolgirls abducted at a Government Secondary School in Chibok on April 14, 2014, by Boko Haram insurgents.
Over 100 of the girls were still missing, as of April 14, 2021.
Earlier, Zulum, on August 7, received Ruth Pogu and her two children, whom she gave birth to in captivity.
She reportedly surrendered herself to the military, alongside someone she was said to have married while in captivity, on July 28 at a location in Bama.
