President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday entered a closed door meeting with the newly appointed Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa.
Emerging reports also said that Nigeria’s Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami joined the meeting shortly after it commenced.
The Senate had confirmed Bawa as the substantive chairman of the EFCC on Wednesday.
Bawa while answering questions from the senators, denied the allegation of selling recovered properties while heading the EFCC’s Port Harcourt office.
