The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) on Tuesday revealed that the 36 governors of the federation have accused the Muhamadu Buhari’s administration of failing to remit recovered stolen assets.
In a post seen on its official Twitter handle, SERAP listed the items the government has claimed to have recovered so far.
SERAP wrote, “The Buhari administration has so far reportedly recovered stolen assets of:
*NI,836,906,543,658.73
*167 properties
*450 Cars
*300 Trucks & cargoes
*20,000,000 barrels of crude oil worth N450m.
“Now, 36 governors claim the administration has failed to remit the assets”.
