The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed that the draws for the 8th African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals will take place on 15 January 2025 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, Nairobi, Kenya.
Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda, selected to jointly host the 36th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations in 2027, have been handed the opportunity to test-run their facilities and operational efficiency with the CHAN competition scheduled from 1 to 28 February 2024.
The 8th CHAN will feature 18 countries: joint hosts Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda, along with Nigeria, Morocco, Guinea, Senegal, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Niger Republic, Congo, Sudan, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Angola, and Madagascar.
The much-anticipated tournament is uniquely reserved for African footballers playing in their domestic leagues.
