It would be recalled that the philanthropist passed on at 63 recently, at a London hospital where he has been receiving treatment on cancer related ailment.
Ajibola Abayomi, the President of JIFORM, a body with over 300 Journalists covering migration across the continents said “we are joining millions of people he touched their lives to bear testimony to his heroic deeds for humanity, certainly, history will be kind to him and he will be remembered for his service to humanity.
“Captain Hosa lived an uncommon life with his wealth. A cheerful giver who contributed immensely to the economic growth of the South south region in Nigeria. We will miss him. Our hearts are with his household at this moment and we pray that the almighty will give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“Beyond Edo State, Hosa’s life should be a didactic to the selfish politicians and those in power for them to have a change of attitude towards the citizens. While he would stop at nothing to bless the needy, some of those in power have continued to make the basic human needs like food, shelter and minimum comfort ethiopian luxuries in the land which should not be.
“Hosa’s foot prints in terms of contributions to the Nigeria’s development represent a golden era to be matched. Time shall tell what people will say about those controlling our common wealth someday.
“For JIFORM, his death, is more than a personal loss because he would have sponsored several Journalists to our third global summit in Canada this year, however, we take solace in the wish of the almighty God to have him recalled to the eternity at this time.
“We specially condole with the Oba of Benin, the government and the good people of Edo State as well as fellow Nigerians over the demise of Captain Hosa. May the God console all. What a painful exit at a time he was needed most”.
