Cardi B, Tyler The Creator and Roddy Ricch have been named among artistes expected to perform at the 2021 BET Awards scheduled for June 28.
This was made known in a statement issued by Organizers of the event on Friday.
The star-studded line-up also includes City Girls, Migos, DaBaby, DJ Khaled, H.E.R, Kirk Franklin, Jazmine Sullivan, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Moneybagg Yo!, Rapsody, and Andra Day.
The statement which noted that the artistes will be joined by many other performers live from the venue for the event at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, added that Tone Stith and Bree Runway, two fast-rising singers, will also be gracing the BET Amplified Stage.
It further noted that the event will be aired live on BET Africa, DStv channel 129 on the said date.

The BET Awards is an American award show that was established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to celebrate African Americans in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment over the past year.
Connie Orlando, BET Awards’ executive vice-president (EVP) on specials, music programming and music strategy, said this year’s edition of the event will have the highest performers in its 21-year-old history.
“As we return live with culture’s biggest night, this year’s show marks many firsts–including the highest number of performers in 21 years of BET Awards; and viewers can expect several surprise moments,” she said.
“Some of today’s hottest talent will join us for our return to LA for an unforgettable night celebrating Black excellence.”
Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Tems are among the nominees for this year’s edition of the award to be hosted by Taraji P. Henson.
