The first leg of Chelsea’s Champions League quarter-final tie with Porto is set to be moved to Spain, according to SkySport Italia.
Thomas Tuchel’s men were due to travel to Portugal for the game on April 7 before hosting the return leg at Stamford Bridge on April 13.
But it has now been claimed that the first leg will will be played at Sevilla’s Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium, despite Portugal being removed from the UK’s red list.
Journalist Angelo Mangiante took to Twitter to reveal the news, adding that an official announcement is expected on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Despite having to contend with a long distance travel, recall that the Blues already won a game at the Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium this campaign – a 4-0 victory over Sevilla – and would be looking to repeat such feat against this season’s surprise package FC Porto.
