Ahead of the final round of the 2023 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifiers, the Confederation of African Federation (CAF) has appointed Benin Republic match officials for the rivalry game between Ghana and Nigeria.
According to a press statement by CAF, “Issa Mouhamed from Benin will officiate Ghana’s 1st leg qualifier against Nigeria at the Cape Coast Stadium.
“He will be assisted by countrymen, Eric Ayimavo Ayamr Ulrich (Assistant I), Koudogbo Augustin Augustin Kougbemede (Assistant) and Dedjinnanchi Tanisla Ahomlanto Dedjinnanchi (Fourth referee).
“Prince Kai Saquee and Sanusie Rashid from Sierra Leon will serve as Match Commissioner and Referee Assessor respectively while Christiana Baah works as COVID-19 Officer.”
The first leg of the clash between Ghana and Nigeria is scheduled for the Cape Coast Stadium.
CHAN is a continental championship meant for players playing within their countries of origin and Africa.
