Day after Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino left his job at Chelsea, a number of coaches are already lined up as possible replacement.
Some of them include Stuttgart manager Sebastian Hoeness, Girona’s Michel, Ipswich’s Kieran McKenna and Leicester’s Enzo Maresca.
Also, Thomas Tuchel is reportedly open to the prospect of returning to Chelsea this summer.
Thomas Frank and Vincent Kompany are of interest to Chelsea, The Guardian reports.
The various considerations followed the sudden departure of Pochettino who coached the club to attain an European place this season.
The former Tottenham boss only arrived last summer, but following crisis talks with sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, as well as co-controlling owner Behdad Eghbali, he has now left his role.
Pochettino, who led Spurs to the Champions League final in 2019, ended his spell in charge of Chelsea with five successive league wins, earning a Europa Conference League place for next season.
The former Spurs boss is due for a ‘significant’ compensation according to the Telegraph, with Pochettino leaving Stamford Bridge less than a year into his two-year contract.
As Pochettino had 18 months remaining on his deal, it was said that he would be due for a package in excess of £10million.
