Chelsea duo of Antonio Rudiger and Kepa Arrizabalaga were said to have been involved in an outburst during their training session over the weekend.
The incident took place at the Cobhams training complex on Sunday, April 4, barely 24 hours after the Blues were hammered 5-2 by West Bromwich Albion.
During the disappointing clash which saw Thomas Tuchel’s men suffer their first defeat after 14 games, Thiago Silva was sent off at the half-hour mark for a second booking.
According to Metro Uk, Kepa reacted angrily to Rudiger’s late challenge during a small-sided game in training.
Though, both players were left on the bench against The Hawthorns but they did take part in Sunday’s training.
It is understood Tuchel reacted immediately to the conflict by dismissing Rudiger for an early shower as the defender was not calm enough to complete the session.
Further reports says Rudiger is said to have apologised for his actions unprompted, and the manager is now happy the matter is resolved.
It is believed this was the second row in Chelsea’s camp after Cesar Azpilicueta and Reece James were reportedly involved in ‘a frank exchange of views’ after the Blues’ defeat.
The duo is thought to have made up moments later, and there is no ill-feeling between them.
The two incidents come just days ahead of Chelsea’s crucial Champions League quarter-finals meeting with FC Porto.
Tuchel’smen are scheduled to take on the Portuguese giants in the first leg of the last-eight fixture on Wednesday, April 7.
