Jigawa State Governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has called on residents to seek the face of God as the scourge of Cholera spreads across parts of the state.
The Governor made the call in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on New Media, Auwalu D. Sankara.
The call comes on the heels of the death of 100 persons as a result of cholera outbreak across the state, with over 5000 cases recorded across 19 local Governments.
The Governor however urged residents to always keep their environment clean and maintain personal hygiene as positive measures against the outbreak of diseases.
He also noted that the state government was doing its best to curtail the spread of the disease.
