There is an end in sight for cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria as the nation has recorded Zero deaths in 5 days.
Figures released by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) indicate a gradual reduction in daily cases which have been below 300 in the last two months while death toll has been less than 21 per week for more than a month.
Also, out of the 60,000 confirmed cases recorded, 51,551 have recovered while a little over 7,000 infections are still active across the nation.
The low number of new infections are favourable to the country’s plan for reopening schools while social activities prepare for full resumption.
