The Presidency has assured all citizens, that the vaccine administered to President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has no side effects on them.
President Buhari on Saturday received the AstraZeneca vaccine, a day after the Federal Government launched the vaccination exercise in the country.
The president’s spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, gave the assurance in a statement in Abuja on Saturday evening while reacting to press enquiries.
The statement said the President had been going about his normal business since he took the vaccine
Mr. Shehu in his statement hoped that a strong message will be sent among the people, especially those grappling with hesitancy about the efficacy and safety of the vaccine.
