Cristiano Ronaldo made several efforts to double the lead for the hosts but somehow it remained 1-0 at half-time.
The second-half started brightly for the visitors who began to pile pressure on Juventus – and their persistence paid off in the 57th minute when Remo Freuler rifled home from outside the area to make it 1-1.
Expectedly, Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to take it, but goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini did well to deny the Portuguese. There were no further ado as it ended Juventus 1-1 Atalanta.
