Several billionaires have been slated to attend the book launch of Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari.
Dr Aisha Buhari who will next week unveil a new book, in collaboration with independent charity, Women and National Development (WAND) is said to have the national leader of the governing All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, as chairman of the event, and billionaire businesswoman, Chief Mrs Folorunso Alakija, as the Special Guest of Honour.
The presentation of ‘Aisha Buhari: Being Different’ at the State House in Abuja marks a return to public engagements for the first lady since returning to the country following a six-month stay in Dubai.
Several prominent business tycoons who are billed to attend the event include, Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, Femi Otedola, Jim Ovia and Muhammadu Indimi.
Others on the star-studded list are Abdulsamad Rabiu, Prince Arthur Eze, Hajiya Bola Shagaya, Chief Kessington Adebutu, Idahosa Wells Okunbo and Daisy Danjuma.
Traditional rulers at the occasion include the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’adu Abubakar; the Ooni of Ife, HRH. Obama Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and King Dr. Appolus Chu, traditional ruler of the Cha Royal Palace in Eleme, Rivers State.
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammad M. Bello and Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen will serve as hosts.
The event is billed to hold on Thursday, April 8.
