English singer and songwriter, Ed Sheeran has announced plans to visit Nigeria after collaboration with singer Fireboy DML on the remix of the hit single ‘Peru’.
The singer made the revelation during a chat with Fireboy on Instagram Live.
This comes weeks after both acts released the remix of “Peru”. The remix instantly topped the charts as Nigerians, home and abroad, vibed to the new tune.
The perfect singer according to reports intends to visit with his partner and daughter for a full family trip.
According to the Sun UK, sources close to the couple shared that the singer has been drawn to West Africa. He’s already been to Ghana and loved it.
Also confirming the plans, Ed’s team disclosed that “he can’t wait to head to neighbouring Nigeria, as he has embraced the culture, food, and music, and now he wants Cherry and his daughter Lyra to experience the good vibes.
“Ed has been showing off his fancy two-step dance moves in his latest video with Nigerian hit-maker Fireboy DML too, and everyone already loves him out there.
“He won’t be short of a chaperone to show him around either as Fireboy DML, as well as superstar Davido, will be ready to take him and his family to the best spots.”
