From north Africa comes a report that Egypt will host the 2027 African Games.
The announcement was made by Association of National Olympic Committee of Africa (ANOCA) on Monday, in which they confirmed that the 2027 African Games would be the African qualifiers for the LA 2028 Olympic Games.
This was disclosed by the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports development.
The report that ANOCA has handed over hosting rights to Egypt is coming barely four months to the rescheduled 2023 Games in Ghana.
According to the Egyptian ministry, the announcement was made by ANOCA on Monday, in which they confirmed that the 2027 African Games would be the African qualifiers for the 2028 Olympic Games.
Formally known as the All-Africa Games or Pan-African Games, the continent’s biggest sporting show is a continental multi-sport event held every four years.
Egypt, a country that has won the competition six times had hosted it in 1991 and emerged winners as well.
