The Coca Cola Company along with its partner, the Nigeria Bottling Company Ltd, has made a donation of N20million to foot the medical bills of victims of the Lekki attack that occurred on Tuesday night.
The company made this known via its twitter account, on Friday, while expressing its distress over the loss of lives during the #EndSARS peaceful protest.
The company said, “The events of the past few days have scarred us all. We are deeply saddened by the needless loss of lives during the peaceful #EndSARS protests. Our hearts go out to the fallen and injured.
“Coca Cola Nigeria, along with our bottling partners, Nigeria Bottling Company Ltd are committed to making a difference in our communities, as such we have made a donation of N20million to our NGO partner, Whitefield Foundation to help defray the medical bills of victims in the hospital” the company added.
