The website of the Nigerian police is currently offline following a cyber attack from a group of Internet activists
The group which pride itself for attacking websites of repressive governments had earlier released a tweet warning of its intent to attack websites of Federal Government Agencies in solidarity with protesters clamouring for police reforms and other just causes.

Upon gaining entry to the police website, the group released documents containing names, addresses, contacts and account details of hundreds of police officers on a text storage website, pastebin.com.
Protesters agitating for a comprehensive reform of the Nigerian police have continued to staged protests across major cities in the country while social media has gone wild with the campaign’s hashtags.
