Former Super Eagles star Seyi Olofinjana has warned Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi not to be carried away by comments suggesting a move away from Leicester City to a better club in Europe.
The Nigerian international has become vital component in Leicester City’s impressive form in the last three years since joining the team in 2017.
His remarkable and consistent form in the Foxes colours, has placed him on the radar of top European sides like Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain in recent years.
However, Olofinjana has cautioned the 24-year-old not to be in a hurry to leave the club.
“For Ndidi at the moment, and for his class, whatever club appreciates what he brings to the table, that will be able to help him get to the next stage of his career, will be where I advise he goes,” the former Wolverhampton Wanderers and Stoke City midfielder told Punch.
“But if that’s not happening, I think he’s in a very good club. Leicester are a force to reckon with right now in arguably the best league in the world. They finished fifth last season, they are third as we speak, it doesn’t get better than that.
“He is playing week-in-week-out, where else should he go? Sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for.”
