Diego Maradona’s former lawyer Matias Morla has demanded for an investigation into the death of the Argentine football legend, claiming that his ex client’s died as a result of ambulance’s late arrival.
Maradona had enjoyed short-lived success in a career which was marred by his addiction to cocaine.
The Argentine legend died weeks after he was released from hospital following a successful surgery to remove a blood clot on his brain.

However, the latest report on UK Mirror, has it that his former lawyer Matias Morla was not happy about the death of his friend and blamed those in charge of ambulance for coming late.
“I feel in my heart the departure of my friend whom I honored with my loyalty and accompaniment until the last of his days.
“I made my farewell with him in person and the wake should be an intimate and familiar moment.
”It is inexplicable that for 12 hours my friend did not have the attention or control from the part of health personnel.
“The ambulance took half an hour to arrive in what was CRIMINAL IDIOCY.”
