The Federal Capital Territory, FCT Water Board has announced that it would be embarking on an “urgent” maintenance repair of its trunk lines along Kubwa, Airport Road, Gwagwalada and its environs.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by the board, the maintenance will cause disruptions, with normal water supply will resume on Monday, April 12.
“FCT Water Board wish to inform the general public that its team of engineers will carry out urgent maintenance of its main trunk line that conveys water to Kubwa, Airport, Gwagwalada and their envrons.
“The maintenance work is to start from Saturday morning the 10th of April and end on Monday morning the 12th of April, 2021.
“Consequently, there will be disruption of water supply to the residents of Kubwa Airport, Gwagwalada and environs.
“In view if this development, the general public especially our esteemed customers, are advised to store and manage water ahead of the maintenance work to avoid any inconvenience.
“Normal water supply will resume on Monday evening the 12th of April, 2021. The FCT Water Board regrets any inconveniences that might be experienced within the period,” the statement read.
