The final match against Al Ahly was a closely contested encounter, with both teams displaying exceptional skill and determination. However, Zamalek’s experience and teamwork ultimately paid off, as they emerged victorious.
Zamalek, brimming with top fitness and delivering a flawless performance throughout the competition which featured 16 clubs, defeated fellow Egyptian side Al Ahly 3-1 in the final held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
Zamalek dictated the pace in the first two sets with an overwhelming performance against their opponents, and capped it off with a decisive win in the fourth and final set.
The team later went on to dominate the individual awards and has now become the first Egyptian club to secure a spot at the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship.
