Ford Motor Company has issued an important recall affecting approximately 105,322 vehicles, US regulator, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, announced on Thursday.
The recall applies only to Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles produced between 2018 and 2020 and is due to a seat belt fault.
Seat belt pretensioners for drivers and/or front passengers may inadvertently lock and fail to operate correctly, posing a safety risk to passengers, the auto safety regulator said.
Ford has committed to repairing the affected parts free of charge.
In terms of financial performance, analysts have provided one-year price targets for Ford Motor Co. From a total of 25 analysts, the average target price is projected at $10.04.
The estimates vary, with the highest set at $15.50 and the lowest at $8.00. This average target price suggests a downside of 1.04% from the current trading price of $10.15.
Dealers will inspect the seat belt retractor date codes and replace affected parts free of charge.
