Fulham have returned to the English Premiership after a 3-0 win over Preston guaranteed a top two finish in the Championship this season.
This appears to be an immediate return return for the Cottagers who have swung back and forth from the top two divisions every season since gaining promotion in 2018 after a four-year absence.
Serbian Aleksandar Mitrovic scored twice for the Whites, while Liverpool-bound Fabio Carlvaho netted the other goal on the night.
Mitrovic has already broken the individual Championship goalscoring record with his 40th effort, passing the 31-goal high mark set by Brentford’s Ivan Toney.
