Nigerian-British boxer Anthony Joshua’s camp manager KD, has revealed that the superstar is currently training with Tyson Fury’s old coach.
The former two-time world heavyweight champion is staying in shape with Ben Davison who helped Fury make a sensational comeback in 2018.
The former world champion left coach Robert Garcia after his rematch loss to Oleksandr Usyk.
That one-fight partnership was followed by a link up with Derrick James, who has guided him to victories over both Jermaine Franklin and Robert Helenius.
Despite a strong relationship with the Texan trainer, it appears that the Olympic Gold Medalist is still keen to learn from as many people as possible.
Speaking to Boxing King Media, David ‘KD’ Ghansa, Chief Operating Officer of 258 Management, said Joshua was currently working with Ben Davison in England before returning to James’ World Class Boxing Gym in Dallas.
“Anthony Joshua wants to be very active. He’s currently ticking over, he’s down at the Ben Davison Performance Centre at the moment. He’s ticking over with Ben, Jamie TKV, we had him in our camps in Dallas a couple times.
“So he’s still active. When he’s got a date, you’ll see him back out in Dallas with Derrick James continuing the work,” he said.
