Top players from Ghana national team will avoid a direct flight to their country, following the side shambolic exit from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
Reports indicate that the players would rather rejoin their respective European clubs after a disappointing AFCON campaign.
The Black Stars failed to progress from their group after losing 3-2 to debutants Comoros in Garoua on Tuesday night.
The defeat had reportedly sparked unpleasant reaction from fans who have called for the sacking of Milovan Rajevac and disbandment of the team.
The Serb had once enjoyed a glorious era in charge of the team, having led the Black Stars to the final in 2010 and the World Cup quarter-finals that same year.
But their recent AFCON debacle has only left fans furious as attention shifts to Qatar 2022 World Cup play-off.
After sealing top spot in their qualifying group ahead of South Africa on goals scored, the four-time champions are unseeded for the play-off draw and could face one of Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Nigeria for a place in Qatar.
The Black Stars lost 1-0 to Morocco before drawing 1-1 with Gabon and losing to tiny Comoros to finish bottom of group C with just a point.
Having failed to win an AFCON title since 1982, Rajevac is under serious pressure after returning for a second spell in charge in September.
