Paul Onuachu bagged a brace as KRC Genk went down to a 3-2 away defeat against Royal Antwerp in the Belgian Pro League clash at the Bosuilstadion on Saturday night.
The Nigeria international opened scoring in the 22nd minute and later doubled the advantage from the spot four minutes after the hour mark.
The Nigeria international has now scored 31 goals and provided two assists in 35 games across all competitions for Genk this season.
However, Antwerp fought back to win the game through goals from Didier Lamkel, Dieumerci Mbokani and Dylan Batubinsika.
Brian Idowu ended a six-month goal drought as Khimki lost 3-1 away to FK Akhmat, in the Russian Premier League on Saturday.
The last time the Nigerian international scored was in October 25 2020, in a 2-0 away win against Rostov.
Idowu scored with just two minutes left against Akhmat which was just a consolation.
The 28-year-old has now scored three goals in 24 appearances in the Russian top-flight this campaign.
Khimki currently occupy eight position on 38 points in the 16-team league table.
While in France, Terem Moffi scored twice as Lorient fell to a 3-2 away defeat to Olympic Marseille in their French Ligue 1 clash at the Orange Velodrome on Saturday, reports.
Moffi put Lorient ahead on 19 minutes after he was set by Congo Democratic Republic forward Yoane Wissa.
The hosts fought with Dmitri Payet netting the equaliser in the 53rd minute.
Paul Lirola gave Marseille the lead for the first time in the game three minutes later.
Moffi then netted for the second time in the game 20 minutes from time.
The 21-year-old has now scored 11 goals in 27 league appearances for Lorient this season.
Lirola bagged the winning goal for Marseille in stoppage time.
