Harry Kane could be on his way to Manchester City this summer following his admiration for Kevin de Bruyne, whom he described as a ‘striker’s dream.
Kane had made no secret of his intention to quit Spurs earlier this week following a disappointing season, and it is anticipated that City could be his next stop.
The £150 million rated forward told Gary Neville that De Bruyne, who is one of City’s best players this season under Pep Guardiola, and would ‘for sure’ help him hit the net next season.
Kane told Neville in the pundit’s YouTube channel The Overlap: “When I watch De Bruyne play he’s a special, special player and some of the balls I see him put in for City are just a striker’s dream if I’m honest.
“But yeah he’s outstanding – you’ve seen him year in year out – he’s an outstanding player with the ball, off the ball, pressing. But his delivery is as good as I’ve ever seen to be honest.”
Kane has scored 32 goals and provided 16 assist in all competitions this season, while De Bruyne, is just two behind Kane in the Premier League assists charts.
De Bruyne has been key to City’s Premier League and Carabao Cup trophies – with the Champions League final against Chelsea to come on May 29.
