Aggrieved staffs of Heritage Bank in Abuja, Nigeria, on Monday held a mini-protest at the residence of former Senator, Andy Uba over failure to pay back his loans.
Heritage Times gathered from a staff who spoke on condition of anonymity that the loans which runs into billions of Naira, has been overdue for several years and attempts to get the former Anambra South Senatorial District representative to pay up, has been abortive.
The staffs in a viral video stated that failure of the senator to pay his loans would lead to the immediate lay off of staffs who marched out in mass.
Although Heritage Times was unable to ascertain if there was a bargain on the loans owed by the senator, the staffs were able to get a message across to Uba.
