As the protest against police extortion and brutality continue to gather momentum across states in the country, some persons seem to be benefiting from the campaign as a result of the kind gesture they have received from EndSARS protesters.

Earlier today, a donation of N4.1million naira was raised to buy a prosthetic leg for one Miss Jane Obiene who joined the EndSARS protest in Abuja with crutches stuck under her arms.

The Heritage Times had gathered that information on the donation page revealed they needed to raise N1.5m in 30 days for Obiene but the target was surpassed within three hours.

Obiene, had endeared many when Image of her marching with hundreds of protesters surfaced.

A twitter user who had shared the link asking Nigerians for donations, explained that Obiene had been unemployed since 2013 by virtue of her physical condition.

However, Obiene is not the only beneficiary of the ongoing protest as it would be recalled that an unidentified groundnut seller had also received N2.3 million from concerned protesters who were touched by her state.
