Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos was spotted in training today with the rest of his teammates after recovering from a muscular injury which kept him out for weeks.
His recovery news comes in the heels of the reports that right-back Dani Carvajal will play no part in Los Blancos remaining fixtures this season due to a hamstring problem.
The 34-year-old veteran defender sustained picked up a muscular injury when on international duty with the Spanish national side, but has now returned to full training ahead of their Champions League semi-final clash with Chelsea next week.
Ramos watched the first-leg from the stand as Karim Benzema’s overhead kick canceled out Christian Pulisic’s goal to peg Chelsea back.
His return serves as a huge boost in the back-four for Los Blancos who are eyeing a LaLiga and Champions League crown this season.
Meanwhile, Mendy is still not fully fit and continues to train alone and may not be ready for the Chelsea game.
Valverde on the hand, is still battling with mild coronavirus symptoms and his return will depend on his latest PCR test.
