Liverpool suffered a sixth home defeat in a row after going down 1 – 0 to relegation threatened Fulham on Sunday.
Lemina’s first-half strike was enough to do the damage after Salah took too long to clear the ball on the edge of his own box and Lemina nicked it off him before picking out the far bottom corner.
Jurgen Klopp had made a shock seven changes for the visit of Fulham, including the the inclusion of Neco Williams and Rhys Williams in defence.
The hosts dominated the second half, with Jota forcing a great save out of Areola before Mane hit the crossbar with a header and Neco Williams fired over, but they couldn’t find an equaliser.
With the result, Liverpool sits at 7th position on the log, four points adrift top four spot. while, Fulham are now level on points with Brighton and Hove Albion, but they stay in 18th due to their inferior goal difference. Next up for them is a tough test against the league leaders, Manchester City, at home.
Klopp on the other hand, will be hoping to end a dismal run of form against RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday.
