Paul Pogba has defended his former Manchester United teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic over claims that the Swede is racist following the clash he had with Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku.
Zlatan and Lukaku were involved in a heated exchange during the Milan derby which ended 2 – 1 in favour of Inter.
Ibrahimovic was reported to have told Romelu Lukaku on the pitch to go and do his voodoo which infuriated the Belgium international.
Lukaku was so angry on the pitch with what his former teammates at Old Trafford said to him during the encounter which was won by Inter Milan.
Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic’s statement has been interpreted as a racial slur, but Paul Pogba has come to the defense of Zlatan Ibrahimovic claiming the striker is not a racist.

”Zlatan… racist? He loves me too much so he’s the last person I’d think of as racist! Come on, don’t joke with that one.”
Ibrahimovic who played alongside Pogba during his 18 months at United also denied making a racial remark.
Despite being beaten my their neigbours, AC Milan still tops the Serie A table while Antonio Conte and his men are occupying second position on the standings.
